The new Balmoral Park at the Maze in Belfast provided the venue for the sixth round of the TRM/Horseware Premier Series which brought a second Premier Series win to Dungannon based Frank Curran.
Having ridden New World to victory at the Kilmeague International Show, the combination repeated the feat with two foot perfect rounds in the Giltspur Scientific sponsored competition.
Having been placed at Louth County, Cavan and Omagh, Curran finally got what he deserved when crossing the line in 41.51. He now moves into joint third place on the leaderboard on 20 points alongside Paddy O'Donnell, who was unplaced today.
Army Rider, Capt Geoff Curran continues his good vein of form with Millaghbane placing second this afternoon.
Capt Curran, who has been one of the main Eventing riders in the Equitation School for a number of years, has been well placed in many National Grand Prix this season, including a fourth place yesterday with Ringwood Abbey at Balmoral.
Alexander Butler moves back up to second place on the leaderboard having taken third today with the Ladycastle Syndicate's Vimminka. The former mount of Scottie Barclay, this mare always showed plenty of promise through her younger years and repaid her owners with a fine double clear in 44.28.
TRM/Horseware Premier Series Leader, Peter Smyth looks to have cemented his place among the International riders list at the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse at the start of August as he took fourth with Corrib House.
The Strabane native now moves to 32 points, 10 clear of Alexander Butler, having recorded a steady double clear round on the Harlequin Du Carel gelding in 53.13.
Filling the line up was Nicholas Butler who slotted into fifth with the Stallion Castlefield Maximus to put his first points on the board. Linda Courtney took sixth with her own HTwo to complete the line up.
With a week off this weekend, combinations will getting prepared for the sixth round of the TRM/Horseware Premier Series at Tattersalls on Sunday week after which the top three riders will gain entry to the International classes in the RDS.
Peter Smyth remains in front after five rounds, but all eyes for now are firmly on today's winner; Frank Curran and New World.
