Rules and Regulations for SJI National Balmoral Championships 2017

Pre-Paid Entries: Entries for all competitions except Events 4,15, 26 & 36. must be received by the entries secretary as detailed on the entry form (available to download from www.ulstershowjumping.ie) by close of business on Tuesday 11th July 2017 together with a £10 non refundable booking fee PER ENTRY. Sterling cheques/bank drafts to be made payable to SJAI(UR) Show Account. Euro Cheques to be made payable to SJAI No.2 Account. Card payment can be made by completing details on the entry form but please ensure a mobile number is also included in case of any queries or by phone to the Show Secretary. Championships requiring qualification do not require pre entry (classes 23,24,25,27,28,29,31 &32)

Entries for event 4 UR TRI 1.35GP, Event 15 National Grand Prix league and Event 26 New Heights Championship Series will open with SJI online system on Monday 10th July and will be open until 4pm Thursday 13th July.
Declarations for event 36 Pony Starfinder via SJI online system no later than 4pm Wednesday 12th July.

Horse riders may only enter 3 horses in any class, except Events 15 &26 where SJI & Event series rules apply, and may only qualify 2 for all Championships except Amateurs where only 1 horse may hold a qualifying place. Should a rider qualify more than the requisite number, those first qualified will be considered as taking up Championship places, unless the show office is informed otherwise within 30 minutes after the completion of the last relevant competition.

Stabling: A limited number of stables are available on site at a cost of £35 - one night, £55 - two nights or £70 - three nights per horse. Stables must be booked and paid for in full at time of entry. Full refund available if cancelled at least 24 hours prior to commencement of the show. No bedding will be provided.

Sunday entries will be blackboard order. Competitions in the Main Arena on Monday and Tuesday will all be run in drawn order and competitors will be expected to be ready on time. Competitions run in Arenas 2&3 will be blackboard order. The main arena will take precedence. Running orders will be available online and at the show office as early as possible.
Pony Entries on Wednesday will run as drawn order for Main Arena and blackboard order for Arena 2&3. Main Arena will take precedence.

There will be a rug awarded to the winner of each pony class with Novice class winners being drawn.
