This inaugural series is aimed at riders from grassroots level up to 1.30m. It is open to show jumping Ireland registered riders with the following exceptions. Horses qualified for 4,5,6,7,8, year old classes at RDS, horses competing at National Grand Prix level in the current year. The Series boasts will see an injection of over 45,000 into the sport. Sponsors for the series include Mervue Equine, Hartog, Irish Commercials, J. Ryan Group and Equine Safety Initiative. It is envisaged that the series will attract a host of SJI members as it will include five height categories, 90cm, 1m, 1.10cm,1.20cm, 1.30cm. The finals of the series will take place in Mullingar Equestrian from the 8 th -10 th September. To qualify for the final, the horse and rider combination must compete in three of the qualifying rounds. Along with prize funds in the qualifying rounds each category in the final will see €2,000 up for grabs and €1,000 for the winning combination of each final . The series will also include a team event at the final where teams will be made up of qualified riders. The first of the rounds will take place in Mullingar on the 8th of April and the second round in Coilog on the final of the TRM Showjumpers Club Spring Tour.
